The short version
We keep what the kitchen needs and nothing else. No advertising, no tracking scripts, no selling of data. Reviews are anonymous: a star count and a line from a fixed list, with no IP address.
What we store
- Your kitchen: a name chosen from a list, the House Chef, your staples, what you avoid, serving size, dinner hour and the three Kitchen Notes answers.
- The pantry line you type, at most 160 characters. It is private: it is used to write your menu and is never shown on a public page.
- Your menus, recipes and which nights you served or closed the kitchen.
- Votes: a random visitor token from a cookie, scrambled with a server secret, used only so one person votes once. No IP address is stored with a vote, a review or a report.
- Reviews: stars, a line chosen from a fixed list, and an optional private note that only the cook can read.
- Your email, only if you claim your kitchen or turn on reminders. A push subscription, only if you turn on push reminders.
- Payments: Stripe handles your card. We keep the Stripe session reference and the dates of your pass.
Where it goes
To write a menu, the pantry line and your kitchen preferences are sent to a language model that Cloudflare runs on its own network. Email goes through Resend, payments through Stripe, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare. Each gets what its job needs and nothing more.
Cookies
np_s keeps you signed in as the cook. ts_v is the visitor token for votes and reviews. tz remembers your time zone so dinner hour is right. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Reminders
Dinner-hour email and push reminders are ones you turned on. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one tap, and your kitchen page has the same switch.
Deleting
Delete your kitchen from its page: the public pages go dark at once and the data is removed after 30 days. To have your account removed as well, email support@dominares.org.
Allergens and recipes
Every dish here is a suggestion, written from what the cook said was in the fridge. The house checks every label and every pan. We avoid what you tell us to avoid; we never promise safe. Allergen lines are reminders, not guarantees, and nothing here is medical advice.
Children
Tablesays is for cooks aged 13 and over. The kids setting only removes alcohol from the menu.
